Elegant and durable bookcloth with a nubby texture.  Linen and synthetic fiber mixture.  Accepts gilding and tooling.  Resists scratches.  Paper-backed, using an archival acrylic adhesive.  Italian.  40" wide.  Available in 10 colors, by the yard or by the 54-yard bolt..

Cialux 

A finely-woven, paper-backed Italian bookcloth with smooth silky finish.  Rayon.  Paper-backed using an archival acrylic adhesive.  

Stocked in 22 colors.  54" wide, by the yard or by the bolt.  A 12" width is also available in SOME colors.  (This 12" width allows covering of most common-sized books, with a minimum of waste and easier storage requirements.)   All bookcloths are ordered by the color number shown in the sample book, link to large image of sam01 is near top of this page.

100% rayon cloth with no fillers, paper-backed.  Suitable for foil and bland stamping and offset printing; neutral pH, solvent-free, biodegradable.  Take a bit of extra care to keep water and paste off the surface to avoid possible staining.

Japanese Linen

100% unbleached, undyed linen woven in Japan.  It has been washed in hot water and has an applied paper backing.  The smooth weave is very refined for use on books, boxes and portfolios.
